Up until my predecessor, there was no formal versioning of this application. He began to apply industry best practices to its development, but I cannot find his repository for it, and he only developed for a year before moving on.
Now that my fires are mostly put out, I can invest time into developing from where he started. From the ground up. Kind of. Like I said, this CMS is basically a hot potato with developers, and I'll be happy if I can present my successor with a standard to continue development with.
